Off piste skiing in Val d'Isere France.
Val d'Isere is a resort that boasts a unique microclimate due to its location, high up in
the French alps and tucked away near the Italian border the resort is a snow sure destination. The off piste skiing beats all other resorts hands down.
The four main skiing areas of, La Daille, Bellevarde, Solaise and Le
Fornet are only a snippet of the entrance ways to the massive off piste
skiing areas that are at our disposal. The off piste skiing is so good,
partly because the lift system enables you to access it without too much
bother, occasionally it is necessary to walk on ski skins to access better
and more sheltered off piste routes, this is always a pleasure as the
snow is excellent further afield and the views are simply majestic.
Leaving your fresh tracks in deep fresh snow is one of the best feelings and
the opportunities to do this don't get any better than in the l'espace
killy. With the neighboring resort of Tignes nearby, daily off piste
adventures are not to be missed.
Martin Mckay Skiing specialises in accessing undisturbed off piste ski
routes, enabling you to get away from the crowds and leave your own powder ski
tracks, learn and improve your technique and have serious fun.
Some of
the routes such as the Col Pers, Grand Vallon, Tour du charvet, Vallon
de Sache and La Balme are just the start, from here Martin will take you
to areas that are particularly sheltered and impressive.
Booking early is recommended.
