Skiing Mountain Safety

Martin Mckay Skiing™ ensures that ski safety is paramount at all times

All skiers are briefed in the use off an avalanche safety transceiver during all off piste ski instruction, off piste guiding and off piste coaching sessions. A familiarity check is the starting point for better awareness on the mountain.

The daily weather conditions are scrutinised and considered carefully for the safest daily off piste skiing adventures. You are encouraged to be aware of past and present weather conditions, this is essential in making safer decisions.

All off piste skiing groups are limited to a maximum of six skiers for ease of management, safety and effective coaching.

All special needs are carefully managed for all skiers both on piste and off piste.

"Martin Mckay Skiing was established in 1990, a keen sense of etiquette has been developed, with respect for mountain personal safety, snow preservation and fellow skiers."

This is an area that we at skimckay take seriously, make no mistake.

See this picture of an off piste track.
