Skiing Mountain Safety and well being

Martin Mckay Skiing ensures that ski safety is paramount at all times.

All off piste skiers are equipped with an avalanche safety transceiver during all off piste excursions. The tail end skier is supplied with a back up safety rucksack containing a safety probe, shovel and first aid kit.

All skiers are briefed in the use off the avalanche safety transceiver during all coaching sessions and trained in it's use during the introduction off piste courses. All safety beeps are tested prior to going off piste.

The daily weather conditions are scrutinised and considered carefully for the safest daily off piste skiing adventures.

All off piste skiing groups are limited to a maximum of six skiers for ease of management, safety and effective coaching.

All special needs are carefully managed for all skiers both on piste and off piste.
