Skiing coach Martin Mckay has developed an unrivalled reputation for helping skiers grasp
the must have essentials in good skiing technique. Your mental awareness, physical harmony

One of the worlds most dedicated ski
teachers, Martin teaches ski technique and skiing skills that give you control, helping you navigate on and off piste without feeling out of your depth in Val d'Isere.
Martin
is a member of the prestigious ski instructors organisation,
BASI and international organisation ISIA. Martin has passed the
Test de Capacite and holds the French equivalence BEES 1er degré
ski alpin.
To date Martin has been teaching
and guiding skiing for over 20 years.
Eearly years
Martin is an ex alpine and freestyle ski competitor, having competed in national British ski championships in all technical disciplines. Formerly as a Downhiller, Slalom and Giant Slalom then onto freestyle moguls.
Martin studied freestyle moguls under the watchful eye of British Olympian Sam Temple. One of Martin's many highlights was competing alongside Gold medalist champion skier Jonny Moseley.
Martin is in keen international demand
as a teacher of skiing as well as a ski instructor, coach and guide in
Val d'Isere. Martin has featured in extreme ski video films, competitions
and as an action model, endorsing and promoting skiing.
Working both on piste with technical
ski instruction for skiers of all levels as well as specialising in
off piste instruction and guiding, where the wonderful skiing area of
l'espace killy is at Martins disposal.
With a detailed knowledge of the area,
the off piste is there to be discovered and make fresh ski tracks.
From December to the end of April, Martin will take your breath away
with his detailed knowledge of the area, finding great snow throughout
the season.
The development of confidence in skiers
at all levels is an essential part of Martins teaching Philosophy. Service,
Safety, Enjoyment and Learning in all skiing lessons is paramount.
